Product Description

A low viscosity, non-solvent type, 100% volume solid epoxy coating exhibiting excellent adhesion to most surfaces (steel, nonferrous, plastics, wood, concrete, glass etc.). Excellent water, chemical, salt, oil resistance, underwater and low temperature curing capabilities. Used in wrapping systems for excellent tensile strength.

Patented to be the only paint that cant be rivaled by any product. It is a premium surface tolerant coating.

Surface should be clean and dry prior to over-coating. If Aqua PU has been exposed for long periods, fresh water washing should be conducted before application of any coatings.

Systems and Compatibility

  • Can be applied as finish coat on following products - ,Aqua ST-03, Aqua ST, Aqua Mastic.
  • Can be overcoated with the following products - Aqua PU, Aqua PU 17-06.

Surface Preparation

Aqua Sealer is highly f lexible coating i n terms of surface preparation requirements. Surface preparation may differ according to the final exposure or application of Aqua Sealer. Refer to Flosil-BET for recommendation on required surface preparation

Mixing

Aqua Sealer is supplied in 2 parts, a liquid binder (Part A) and a liquid binder (Part B). Always mix liquid (Part B) into the liquid (Part A) while stirring. 75-100 RPM mixer is recommended. Material should be screened in a mesh prior to application.

Thinning

Not Recommended. Use Aqua T01 only for cleaning of equipment.

Airless Spray

Recommended, Tip range: 0.48-0.63 mm at 3500 - 4000 psi tip pressure.

Conventional Spray

Recommended. Do not exceed spray pressur e than 4 Kg/Cm2. Remove filters from the spray equipment to avoid blockages.

Brush / Roller

Recommended to use roller and brush.

Substrate Temperature 5-65% C
Relative Humidity 50% minimum, 85% maximum
Surface temperature shall always be at least 3°C above Dew Point. Do not expose the coated articles where there are chances of condensation on the surface.

  • Packing Size = 16L Mix Paint.
  • Smaller pack sizes may be available on request.
  • Shelf life: 36 months* from the date of manufacturing.

*Material to be stored in sealed and unopened containers in closed shelter.
