Possible Applications
Aqua PU 17-06 is suitable for use in both new construction and
as a maintenance coating which can be used in a wide variety
of environments including offshore structures, chemical and
petrochemical plants, bridges, pulp and paper mills, and in
the power industry.

Surface temperature shall always be at least 3°C above
Dew Point. Do not expose the coated articles where there
are chances of condensation on the surface.

Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be coated shall be dry and free from oil,
grease, dust, dirt and any foreign matter that can adversely
affect adhesion of coating. Solvent cleaning as per SSPC SP1
shall be conducted wherever necessary.
Mixing
Aqua PU 17-06 is supplied in 2 parts. Always mix curing agent
(Part B) into the liquid binder (Part A) while stirring.
75-100 RPM mixer is recommended. Material should be screened
prior to application.
Thinning
Aqua T02 - 10 to 20% as Needed
Airless Spray
Recommended, Tip range: 0.43-0.53 mm at 2500 - 3000 psi tip
pressure. Remove filters from the spray equipment to avoid
blockages
Conventional Spray
Recommended. Do not exceed spray pressure more than 4
Kg/Sq.Cm. Remove filters from the spray equipment to avoid
blockages.
Brush / Roller
Recommended to use roller and brush.
